اخیرا این اجلاس با حضور جاوید لودین، معاون وزیر خارجه افغانستان، مارک گروسمن، نماینده ویژه آمریکا برای افغانستان و پاکستان و جلیل عباس جیلانی وزیر دولت در امور خارجی پاکستان برگزار شد و گفتگو با طالبان و تامین ثبات در منطقه از محورهای بحث این اجلاس بود.

روزنامه ماندگار در مطلب صفحه نخست خود با عنوان "انزوای پاکستان، راه حل بحران افغانستان"، نوشته "تا زمانی که پاکستان در سطح منطقه و جهان به دلیل حمایت از تروریسم منزوی نشود، مذاکرات سه‌جانبه و چندجانبه با این کشور هیچ پیامد مثبتی نخواهد داشت".
